Meeting Place: New Design Road Park & Ride, Frederick, MD 21704
Sail through history on Saturday, April 25! Tour Fort McHenry, birthplace of the Star-Spangled Banner, and step aboard Pride of Baltimore II for a two-hour sail on the Patapsco River, following in the wake of War of 1812 privateers. A Spanish-speaking interpreter will accompany the sails, and round-trip transportation and lunch are included(bus departs at 8:15 AM from New Design Road Park & Ride in Frederick, and returns to this same location at 4:45 PM). Dress in layers, wear flat, rubber-soled shoes, and bring sunscreen and water for a comfortable, hands-on experience on one of the world’s most striking tall ships.
Our “Fort to Deck” adventure brings history to life, showing why Baltimore’s maritime story is truly one of a kind. We look forward to welcoming you aboard!
Please note that Pride II is not wheelchair accessible. Special needs are considered individually, so let your coordinator know in advance if you have mobility restrictions—accommodations always begin with a conversation.
To reserve space for you and your child, please RSVP on Eventbrite.

Please note: We monitor the weather closely, and a little drizzle won’t stop us. Safety is our top priority, and we do not sail in storms, heavy sustained rain, or unsafe winds. If severe weather is likely, we will notify registered guests at least 24 hours in advance. Because weather can change quickly, the Captain makes the final determination on sailing conditions at the time of departure. Rain date is Sunday, April 26.
